Host John Moe

John MoeJohn Moe is the host of American Public Media's Future Tense. His radio work has been featured on public radio programs such as Marketplace, All Things Considered, Morning Edition, Day to Day, and The Splendid Table. He is also the former host of American Public Media's Weekend America. Prior to joining American Public Media, he hosted a long-running technology and business program at public radio station KUOW in Seattle, as well as programs dealing with politics, current affairs, and the arts. He is the author of the Conservatize Me (2006) and his writing has appeared in numerous humor anthologies. Before entering public radio, he served as a Senior Editor at e-commerce pioneer Amazon.com.

May 3, 2010: Future Tense Transition

Jon Gordon, who created and has served as host of Future Tense for the past 14 years, is stepping into a new role. He'll join the Minnesota Public Radio Newsroom as its first social media/mobile editor. Jon's Future Tense Archive will remain active, but all new posts will happen here.

John Moe will take over as host of Future Tense. Moe hosted the public radio show Weekend America as well as The Works, a technology and business program in Seattle, for many years. Future Tense also has a new website with more opportunities for you to lend your voice to our coverage and keep tabs on the latest tech news. In the midst of all these changes, Future Tense will continue its commitment to bringing you important stories from the ever-changing world of technology.
